Serina Christine Holmstrom is a Seattle native, fun-loving philanthropist. After obtaining a degree in Developmental Neuroscience from Western Washington University, Serina's heart for children led her to serve as a trauma counselor and court advocate for high needs children and youth.
Though you can still find her at the front lines fighting for gender equality, peaceful conflict resolution and environmental stewardship, Serina currently focuses on developing media and activism through grant writing, fundraising and marketing for progressive groups such as Backbone Campaign and Occupy.com. She loves animals, gardening, her grandma and soup. Serina dreams of someday building her own treehouse, where she will listen to the blues and write all day.
