The Chair serves as the chief executive officer of the Commission and delegates management and administrative responsibility to the Managing Director. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is an independent United States government agency, directly responsible to Congress. The FCC was established by the Communications Act of 1934 and is charged with regulating interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable. The FCC's jurisdiction covers the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. possessions.

Comedian, host of Comedy Central's The Daily Show

Nominating Speech:
While this nomination might seem like an effort to trivialize the list, it could also seen as a serious suggestion. Jon Stewart left his comedian role in a recent appearance on CNN's Crossfire show, when he appeared and severely criticized the hosts of the show, especially the right wing twit "Tucker" Carlson. He asked the shows host to "Stop hurting America" and create a real serious debate show, instead to of the yell-fest that most news shows have become.
