Help change agents learn skills for making a bigger impact!

Backbone Campaign welcomes activists from across the country at this year's Localize This! Action Camp, on Vashon Island, in September.

This will be our 10th year of convening community organizers, trainers, storytellers, change agents, and artists.  It costs Backbone about $300/camper to cover the hard costs of each trainee at Camp (facility rental, food, cook, trainers' stipend, supplies).

We never turn away anyone for lack of funds. This accessibility and openness is made possible thanks to generous supporters like you.

Can you contribute so that activists from frontline communities can attend this gathering?

With your help, both new and seasoned activists will learn how to build campaigns that win, how to do light projections, build and deploy props that get attention for a cause, kayak in a flotilla, nurture their squad for the long haul of building a resilient movement, learn best practices for direct action, how to negotiate with police, create action videos, recruit volunteers, facilitate conflict, and more.

By pitching in so an activist can attend Action Camp this year, you're helping to create a new society that honors that some things are just NOT FOR SALE. Thanks for stepping up -- so that together we can rise up!
