Backbone is on the big screen, thanks to Tom Clements' "Projecting Protest" Documentary! 

We'll show the film online, then have a brief Q&A with light projectionists and the filmmaker.  In the 2nd part of the event, Backbone Executive Director Bill Moyer, featured in the film, will do a short tutorial on how to get started with light projection.

During this event, we will walk through the materials we use and how to put together a banner. We will also provide information on how you can get one of our banner kits to create and deploy a banner in your community. 

Overpass bannering is a highly visible and 100% legal way for individuals and friends to take action together. It only takes 2-5 people and an hour of time to reach tens of thousands of people and make them feel less alone and able to stand up as well. 

Our monthly Backbone Action call is for impassioned activists - both new and seasoned, who are committed to amplifying justice, using strategic messaging and creative tactics.
