Sunday March 20th - All Women Kayaktivist Training

Lakes Training in PortlandThis training is exclusively for female identified participants.

We're excited to have an awesome all women training team to welcome you to kayaktivism. Meet your trainers: Among many other projects, Zarna organizes with Women of Color Speak Out. Margo's organizing spirit was reinvigorated during sHellNo and became one of the core kayaktivist training team members. Amanda is a ACA certified paddler and trained most of the Kayaktivist trainers herself.

Whether you want give kayaking a try for the first time or you want to polish-up your paddle strokes, practice how to raft-up and hoist banners, communicate and paddle as a team, this training is for you!

Take this opportunity to learn and try out new skills in the comfort and safer space of fellow female identified participants.

We have an ambitious goal of training thousands of people to safely take action on the water to help keep fossil fuels in ground. We hope you'll join the team! Please RSVP - ASAP to reserve your spot.
