Witness at the Border held a 2 week Vigil for Justice in Eagle Pass, TX.

The action was a protest and call to action as a response to the takeover and militarization of a citypark on the Rio Grande River by the state of Texas. This has caused environmental damage to the river and its banks and increased danger for migrants exercising their right to seek asylum. They held two night actions - one at a city park on the street leading over the pedestrian bridge into Mexico. And another at the port of entry by a CabP station.
