1 July 2018 - Folks in Houston projected on the site of a proposed child prison.

Houston DSA EcoSocialists wanted a stimulating action that would inspire others to go beyond protests and into direct actions. They used a combination of projection and poetry at a proposed Southwest Key child prison site on 419 Emancipation.

"We parked at the bank parking lot across the street. We knew that the Southwest Key security guards would come out so chose the offsite to place the equipment. When they came out and told us no photos or they’d call the cops we knew that we didn’t have 
to immediately comply. We were able to get all the footage that we needed."
