Why is this important?

Despite its name, “Medicare Advantage” (MA) is not an advantage for seniors and people with disabilities. It’s not even the same Medicare program that Americans have come to know and love. Private insurance companies like UnitedHealthCare, Aetna and Humana spend millions on advertising in order to hide the ugly truth: their MA plans raid taxpayer funds and routinely fail to deliver the care that patients expect and deserve.
