Backbone projected Heidi Phelps' “Stand with Ukraine” image on the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC.
The artist shared, “I collaborated with Backbone Campaign to project my Stand with Ukraine image on the National Gallery of Art and the Russian Embassy, as part of our public art protest in solidarity with Ukrainian resistance fighters."
Both projections took place on the same day Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the U.S. Congress asking for support.
Protest posters are available as a fundraiser for those in the Ukraine, as well as for free download for anyone who wants to print them out and show their support.
