On this 4th of July, the Bannering Brigade can feel especially proud of what we are doing.  250 years ago our new country was flawed, but a new democracy was created.  Today our country is flawed, but we are fighting to maintain our democracy.  We don't have to fight a war for our democracy this time, but we still have to fight - which we are doing.:>
