1 July 2018: The LA Solidarity Brigade projected onto an ICE building and participated in civil disobedience.
From the folks in LA:
"On Saturday night we went to the #OccupuIceLA encampment on a lawn next to the ICE detention facility in Downtown Los Angeles. We quickly recognized some activist faces there, we shook hands and asked if it's OK to project on the building. After explaining the messages, we got verbal consent. They loved the pics and shared them on social media.
This action helped pave a smooth participation in a followup action on Monday, where members from our group participated in civil disobedience at the ICE facility. Here we used the orange deer fence letters attached to painter poles. This sign stood up above the crowd and was visible in ABC news media coverage.
The person arrested in the video is Danah from our campaign/policy advocacy group Indivisible CA-43."
