Recently our friends in Corte Madera, CA were inspired by our banners and made their own similar one.
They shared: "Five of us deployed our banner on the Hwy 101 overpass during Thursday rush hour. Over the course of two hours, hundreds if not thousands of cars passed by. (And, nice coincidence, we were obliquely facing a Tesla dealership.) The overwhelming majority of the response was positive: honks, thumbs up, fists in the air, waves. For me, being able to respond directly to the people in the cars (by waving, giving them back the thumbs up, etc.) deepened the effect of the action, because it brought that "social proof" one step further: connecting directly to those people, at least for a second, and thereby showing them that they and all that they feel exists within a larger community of people who feel the same."
Join us for our next banner workshop on Weds, March 26th to learn how you to can make this tool and deploy in your community.
