Backbone friends in East LA used light projection and a banner - as well as other creative tactics - to protest Judge Sontchi's decision to let Corporate Polluter Exide walk away from financial responsibility and criminal accountability. 

 

According to the LA Times, "Residents of the massive cleanup zone surrounding the shuttered Exide battery recycling plant in Vernon marched to downtown Los Angeles on Monday evening to protest a bankruptcy court’s decision to allow the company to abandon the heavily contaminated site."
