Backbone recently partnered with Snake River Savers for a Flotilla event on Green Lake in Seattle.

Over 15 kayaktivists took to Green Lake on Saturday, June 24 with another 15 individuals with stickers and handouts to encourage people to help take action. Chants such as "Stop Salmon Extinction" and "Hey Hey Ho Ho Snake River Dams have got to go!" could be heard throughout the area. 

Since the beginning of Backbone Campaign, we have trained hundreds of individuals in the art of kayaktivism. Kayaktivism is a great method to gain attention and take a stand for a variety of issues.
