Backbone Campaign was honored to participate in the Snake River Healing Journey, a 50 mile paddle down the Lower Snake.  Canoe families from Puyallup, Kalispell, and Spokane joined the journey.

In addition to paddling, the group, led by members of the Palouse Tribe, planted the river banks with native plants, to re-matriate the land.

Bill traveled to eastern Washington, bringing the Backbone safety boat for support, as well as life jackets, radios and camping equipment.
