Here's an article about a plan for ultra high speed ground transportation (UHSGT) -- not the same as Solutionary Rail's plan for Higher Speed passenger and freight rail -- connecting Vancouver, B.C., Seattle, and Portland, plus several cities in between. Its purpose is to obviate the need for an additional runway at SeaTac International airport, un-clog the interstate, and help createa decarbonized transportation infrastructure. According to a recent cost analysis, it might be feasible. Please take a moment to read and call your federal senators and rep to advocate for funding and a new CEO for Amtrak.
