As the Backbone traveling team conquered the streets of DC, the Seattle area bannering crews started the month of May off with a statement. 

At Kirkland was "Stand Up For Due Process." Yesler banner team had "Free Kilmar" which also featured a large awareness ribbon constructed out of many smaller pieces of ribbon and yellow caution tape. The idea was concocted by volunteer, Charlie. This banner also made an appearance later that day at another rally in the area. 

50th morning team had "Fight Oligarchy" with the 50th afternoon team showcasing "You are the Resistance."
