World Orca Day Bannering

Standing up for Southern Resident orca and the wild salmon on which they depend as their primary food source, folks in 9 different cities took to overpasses, intersections, bridges and other locations to call for breaching of the 4 Lower Snake River dams. Bannering happened on World Orca Day, Thursday, July 14th, 2022.

Actions took place in Lewison, Boise, Spokane, Wenatchee, Portland, Tacoma, Seattle, Edmonds, and Olympia, collectively reaching tens of thousands of commuters during the hour long action.
