Backbone's Globe traveled to VT to deliver a critical message to Secretary Vilsack and Senators Peter Welch and Bernie Sanders  - Climate Forests are Worth More Standing!

Residents of Burlington VT took the streets for a rally, march and tree theater, in support of protections for climate forests  - including Telephone Gap.

The US Forest Service, under Secy Vilsack, proposes 12,000 acres of reckless logging in some of Vermont’s oldest forests. 

For climate, biodiversity, and water protection, the Forest Service must stop logging Green Mountain National Forest.

Vermont forest protectors sent a loud and clear message to the USFS and the Biden Administration that public forests are #WorthMoreStanding!
