For this Art Build in our Warehouse, we're excited to have Alessandra Mondolfi, artful activist based in Miami (as well as Backbone Campaign Community Supported Organizer), join us. Alessandra has created art for so many important issues - climate change and renewable energy, support for those seeking asylum in this country, rejection of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, and much much more.
Alessandra created such compelling art calling for the shutdown of Homestead, a prison for children asylum seekers, that she got the attention of the media, Presidential candidates, and every day people who were moved to join her outside Homestead and take action.
She will be leading our Art Build this day. You won't want to miss meeting and working with this amazing, creative, and generous activist.
