Artful Activism on the Capitol Steps for Climate Action

From Vashon to our Legislators: Artful Activism for Climate Action on the Capitol Steps

Next Monday, Jan 14th, 9am-1pm - Backbone has been asked to bring lots of imagery to an important rally/lobby day for climate action, indigenous sovereignty, and Snake River dam removal. This is an opportunity for Vashon Islanders to support important statewide action, and we need you to be part of our artful activism team!

There will be songs and speakers, including Bill speaking on Solutionary Rail, then we'll visit our legislators to let them know we want 100% renewable energy NOW ("Get off the Dime, we are out of Time").  Imagery set up starts at 9 (we'll be taking the 7:10 boat off the south end), the rally starts at 10 at the Legislative Bldg.

Sign up to drive or to join a carpool here.

A downloadable flyer about the event is here.
