You are invited to our weekly art build & volunteer drop-in on Vashon! We hope you can join us for a little or a lot.
Every Wednesday members of the Vashon community come out to help make beautiful imagery and creative tools that activists mobilize across the country. These resources that you create are instrumental for earning media attention about important issues and inspiring people to take action around the causes we all care deeply about.
No Skills Necessary - Just your willingness to help out!
Help us this week at the volunteer drop-in to build up our library of deer fence banner letters so we can rapidly mobilize actions like this in the future. We'll also be doing a little bit of papier-mâché. Watch skilled painter Tom Gross-Shader restore one of our props. It takes many hands to make the change we want to see in the world!
Drop-in to our Vashon headquarters to help with a variety of volunteer opportunities. Stop in to Suite 205 when you arrive!
Supplies / food items you can bring:
- Non-GMO snacks or beverages to share.
- Dress for a slight mess.
- Clean plastic screw-top containers (we especially love Talenti gelato containers).
If you need a reprieve from your daily activities, whatever your gift or skill may be, there are a host of useful ways you can pitch-in!
Be part of the team- RSVP to join us Wednesday!
PS: Can't come to the art build but want to help from the comfort of your home? Take some of the materials home and help while listening to your favorite audiobook or watching tv / movies. Call/text Eric at 860-605-0776.
