Contribute to the Kayaktivst Legal Support Fund: Support those who took courageous action to confront the ecocidal criminals Royal Dutch Shell and their accident-waiting-to-happen (again) the igNoble Discoverer when it snuck out of Everett yesterday morning. Go here to see images of the beauty and the struggle we experienced on the water yesterday morning. https://flic.kr/s/aHskfmKQs8 Join me and Backbone Campaign in supporting those who received citations and fines after being pulled out of their kayaks and detained. The fines were twice as much as the previous action ($500) and for the person who was detained at both actions ($2500). We need warriors on the front line of this fight. Check out this article and register for this Saturday's conference in Olympia, WA. Railroad Workers United (RWU) and the Backbone Campaign are following up last weekend's Richmond, CA conference with another this weekend in Washington State. Join us at Future of Railroads: Safety, Workers, Community and Environment, all day at the Evergreen State College. Doors open at 8am, program starts at 9am. Lunch and Dinner included with registration fee. (No one turned away for lack of funds.) It's true: "A campaign to modernize our transportation system with high-speed, low-carbon rail is gathering momentum."

I do not know if these rebels will succeed. I prefer "Radical Solutionary" but whatever label rocks the change we need, works for me.
