Occupy Bellingham worked with Backbone, Save Our Wild Salmon, and other allies to organize a human orca mural.

The event was one of many to try to convince the governor's Orca Task Force to push for restoration of the Snake River as a necessary tactic for saving the Orca. Restoration involves increasing water flow over the dams immediately and then removal of the 4 lower dams.

Photos and message from this event were sent to the task force and specifically to the local state senator Kevin Ranker.
