Backbone Campaign and 350 Seattle are teaming up to Protect What You Love! Join us for a fun, festive and high energy procession at the Fremont Solstice Parade this Saturday. 

We will be mobilizing a gorgeous inflatable globe, a lightweight 20ft inflatable orca whale, a beautiful inflatable chinook salmon puppet and a wind turbine powered Ecotopia train.  Accompanying this ensemble is the Paris discord float with Trump climbing atop the Eiffel Tower in a battle for a habitable biosphere versus Trump-induced climate chaos.

The fabulous and overtly political RiseUp marching band will inspire us and the parade watchers to take action with their music!

Most imagery is lightweight and a joy to animate. We line-up starting at 11am to get familiar with our imagery and one-another and depart at 1pm. Come early to get parking closer to the parade start. When you arrive look for the 16 foot Eiffel Tower, and our ecotopia train.
