The newly formed Indivisible Chapter of the Backbone Campaign invites you to participate in our 2nd community forum,
"This is What Democracy Looks Like!"
We'll use Open Space Technology to brainstorm actions, form working groups and build alliances.
What are the actions you'd like to organize? We'll have two rounds of discussion groups so will need 10-12 people willing to identify a topic and start a discussion. Some examples:
v PLAN to visit members of Congress during the Congressional Recess, Feb 20 – 24
v DEVELOP an approach for State Legislator visits
v STRATEGIZE media outreach
v DISCUSS how we will liaise with other Indivisible Groups, using Backbone props and tools, including our Thank-n-Spank tools and freeway overpass banners
v BRAINSTORM how to use social media to connect our group and reach out to others
Bring a topic or use one from the list, gather a discussion group, report out. We want to hear your brilliant idea that you and others can take on.
Coffee, tea and some snacks will be provided - please bring a snack to share if you can.
